Bormio Ski Area
Bormio Ski offers over 50 km of interconnected slopes, spanning from 1,225m to 3,012m. It's particularly famous for the 'Stelvio' slope, a World Cup downhill run known for its technical difficulty, vertical drop (over 1,000m), and thrilling challenges. The area includes 14 blue (easy), 14 red (intermediate), and 5 black (expert) pistes, ensuring a varied experience. The 'Bormio 2000' area is ideal for families and beginners with wider, gentler slopes, while advanced skiers will gravitate towards the higher altitudes and the Stelvio slope. Snowmaking covers a large portion of the area, ensuring consistent conditions throughout the season, which typically runs from early December to mid-April. A vibrant snowpark is also available for freestylers near Bormio 2000. Lift pass prices vary by season and duration; a 1-day adult pass averages €50-65.
