Montenvers Mer de Glace Train

A charming rack railway departs from Chamonix to Montenvers (1,913m), offering stunning views of the Mer de Glace glacier, Drus, and Grandes Jorasses peaks. From Montenvers, visitors can descend via a gondola and then steps into an ice cave carved annually into the glacier itself. There's also a Glaciorium (museum) and a crystal gallery.
