Cross-Country Skiing Trails

Alpbach and the surrounding valley offer several well-maintained cross-country ski trails, totaling approximately 15 km. The trails range from easy loops for beginners (e.g., Brandenberg valley trail) to more challenging routes for experienced skiers. They are groomed daily for both classic and skating styles. Access is generally free of charge. Equipment rental is available in the village. This provides a serene alternative to alpine skiing, allowing immersion in the quiet winter landscape.
