Chamois Lake (Lago di Camoscio) Hiking Trail

A moderately challenging hiking trail leading to the picturesque Lago di Camoscio, a serene alpine lake reflecting the surrounding peaks. The trail starts near Saint-Jacques and winds through forests and open pastures, offering panoramic views of the Val d'Ayas. The round trip takes approximately 4-5 hours with an elevation gain of around 600-700 meters. Suitable for families with some hiking experience. Free access. Availability: June to October.
