Almlammerweg Themed Hiking Trail

The 'Almlammerweg' (Lamb Trail) is a delightful themed hiking trail designed especially for families with children. Starting near the Hofalmen huts (accessible by car or local bus), this easy-to-moderate circular trail combines beautiful alpine scenery with interactive stations that teach children about the life of lambs and local farming. The trail is well-marked, approximately 3-4 km long, and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete at a leisurely pace. It's typically open from late spring to early autumn, offering stunning views of the Dachstein South Face. Free access, suitable for strollers in parts.
