Hiking Trails - Vršič Pass

The Vršič Pass is Slovenia's highest mountain pass (1,611m), offering breathtaking panoramic views and serving as a starting point for numerous hiking trails into the Julian Alps and Triglav National Park. The road itself is an adventure with 50 hairpin turns. Famous trails include routes to Prisojnik, Mojstrovka, and the Koča na Gozdu mountain hut. Difficulty ranges from easy walks to challenging multi-day treks. Access to the pass is usually seasonal (closed in heavy winter snow).
