In winter, it's a prime spot for cross-country skiing (classic and skating, with several loops of varying difficulty), snowshoeing, and dog sledding. In summer, the lake area transforms into a haven for hiking, fishing, paddleboarding, and offers a children's play area and several restaurants. Access is via a scenic road from the village.
