Ahornbahn Cable Car

Europe's largest reversible cable car, the Ahornbahn, transports up to 160 passengers in a single cabin from Mayrhofen (630m) to the Ahorn plateau (1965m). This mountain is known for its gentler, wider slopes, ideal for beginners, families, and leisurely cruising in winter. It also features a popular 'Fun Ride' and an outdoor concert stage. In summer, Ahorn is a serene hiking area with easy walking paths, a breathtaking 'Adlerbühne' (bird of prey show), and scenic viewpoints. Operating hours are similar to Penkenbahn. This lift is less focused on high-speed ski access and more on a scenic and family-friendly mountain experience.
