Horbergbahn Gondola (Hippach)

Though not in Mayrhofen village center, the Horbergbahn is a crucial and modern gondola located in the nearby village of Hippach (easily accessible by ski bus from Mayrhofen). It provides direct access to the Zillertal 3000 ski area, connecting to Penken and Rastkogel slopes, alleviating pressure on the main Mayrhofen lifts during peak times. It's a high-capacity gondola, efficiently transporting skiers and snowboarders up the mountain. In summer, it's also used by hikers and mountain bikers to access higher trails and mountain huts.
