Perched above Ortisei, St. James' Church (Chiesa di San Giacomo) is the oldest church in Val Gardena, dating back to the 12th century. Accessible by a scenic walk from Ortisei, it offers a peaceful retreat and a glimpse into Ladin history. Entrance is generally free, though donations are welcome. Open during daylight hours.
