Cycling - Furka Pass and Surrounding Area

Realp is a mecca for road cyclists, strategically positioned at the base of the iconic Furka Pass (2429m). Cyclists can embark on a challenging ascent of the Furka, often combined with the nearby Gotthard and Grimsel passes to form the famous 'Alpine Triptych.' Mountain biking opportunities also exist on forest roads and designated trails. Bicycle rentals are available in nearby Andermatt. The main passes are typically open from late May/early June to October.
