Muottas Muragl Funicular & Panorama Restaurant

Experience one of the Engadine's most iconic views. The Muottas Muragl funicular, operating since 1907, transports guests from Punt Muragl (near Samedan, a short drive from Silvaplana) up to 2,456 meters above sea level. The ride itself offers breathtaking vistas. At the summit, the Panorama Restaurant Muottas Muragl boasts stunning panoramic views over the Upper Engadine lake district and offers fine dining with a focus on regional and seasonal ingredients. It's also a starting point for numerous hiking trails in summer, and a popular sledging run in winter (3.5 km long). Operating hours vary seasonally, typically from morning to late evening.
