Postalm Arena (Nearby Ski/Cross-country Area)

Located about 25 km from St. Wolfgang, Postalm Arena is Austria's largest high-altitude plateau, ideal for cross-country skiing with over 20 km of groomed trails. It also features several small family-friendly downhill slopes and beginner lifts. In summer, it's a popular hiking and alpine pasture area. While not directly in St. Wolfgang, it serves as the closest significant winter sports option. Accessible by car or ski bus. Day pass for cross-country around 10-15 EUR.
