Trail 'Grande Balconata del Cervino'

While Alta Via 1 is excluded, specific segments of other famous trails are not. This medium-difficulty trail is typically undertaken in several stages, connecting various points in the Valtournenche valley and surrounding areas. It provides a less strenuous alternative to high-altitude mountaineering but still offers immense scenic rewards. Sections near Valtournenche, such as the path towards Cheneil or the circuit around the valley, are popular day hikes, providing stunning views without extreme elevation gain.
