Eugenisee Lake Fishing & Picnic Area

Eugenisee is a small, idyllic artificial lake located just outside the village center, perfect for a relaxing day of fishing or picnicking. Stocked with rainbow trout and char, it offers a serene environment for recreational fishing. Fishing permits can be purchased at local shops, with daily permits costing approximately CHF 25-30. No special fishing license is required for day permits. Around the lake, visitors will find well-maintained picnic areas with barbecue spots, benches, and a children's playground. The flat path around the lake is ideal for leisurely walks, accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. Open primarily during the warmer months, typically from May to October, from dawn till dusk.
